Rebecca Townsend Partner
Rebecca qualified in 1999. She was previously an Equity Partner in a West Yorkshire practice. Rebecca has a wealth of experience in employment law and commercial litigation, including both commercial and partnership disputes. Rebecca has a passion for business, having owned and run a successful retail business for a number of years, before returning to the legal profession. She also has a passion for client care and ensuring that every client is well looked after from their first contact with the firm. Ian Townsend Partner
Ian qualified as a solicitor in 2000. He brings to the firm a dynamic, driven enthusiasm for getting the best result for the client. Ian has worked for a number of national law firms and after qualification gained extensive experience in advising clients in corporate, private public and commercial transactions, including M&A, MBO’s, Franchising and corporate restructuring.
His career has evolved as he pursued his interest in criminal and regulatory law. Over the past few years Ian has concentrated on regulatory breaches, discipline procedures, high crime including corporate manslaughter and serious crime, as well as involvement in high profile cases and public law issues, including judicial review and inquests.
